!NEW! POWER TUMBLING (also for cheerleaders) is designed for those individuals who want to learn flips, handsprings and other floor skills. The emphasis is on improving strength, flexiblity, proper lead up skills and correct alignment for tumbling activities.
• FIRST 8-WEEKS: Mon. Feb. 1 - Mon. March 29
• SECOND 8-WEEKS: Mon. April 5 - Mon. May 24

Age 8+, Course 432 8 WEEK CLASS

CHALLENGE GYM is for the young child not old enough for artistic gymnastics but has come up through a Gerstung Movement Education program and/or exhibits above average coordination and physical readiness for a more intense course. The focus is on the introduction of formal tumbling and the challenge of basic gymnastics skills; all performed on age and size appropriate equipment.
Age 6-7, Course 402 (Co-Ed)

GIRLS GYMNASTICS (BEGINNERS I and I & II) is an introductory program of artistic gymnastics. All basic gymnastic techniques are introduced. This class includes strength and flexibility training, floor skills, and all basic moves on the beam, uneven bars, and Tumbl-Trak.

BOYS GYMNASTICS (BEGINNERS) This class focuses on basic skills of men’s gymnastics using vaulting, horizontal bars, pommel horse, and still-rings. Floor routines and skills learned on the Tumbl-Trak provide an exciting workout.

GIRLS GYMNASTICS (INTERMEDIATE) This class emphasizes proper technique and skills needed to master intermediate gymnastics. New challenges and sequencing of skills are introduced. Previous training is required as well as the ability to work independently. Students are challenged according to their abilities. Instructor recommendation or appointment for skill assessment is required.
Course 411, 1.5 hrs.

BOYS GYMNASTICS (INTERMEDIATE) More advanced skills are explored with focus on tumbling, apparatus, sequencing, and strength training. Instructor recommendation or appointment for skill assessment is required.
Course 414, 1.5 hrs.

GYMNASTICS WORKSHOP This course is for the advanced level student who has perfected the skills and techniques of our intermediate program. Talented gymnasts, with a lot of stamina and the ability to work independently, are ready for this extended training session. Students will concentrate on more advanced skills, choreography, and complex sequences on the floor and all apparatus. Some dance is incorporated in this two hour program. Students are placed in groups according to their ability levels and are challenged appropriately. Instructor recommendation or appointment for skill assessment is required.
Course 443, 2 hrs.

TEEN GYMNASTICS is a beginner class for girls that will incorporate floor work, bars, beam and uneven bars. The girls will work on their strength, flexiblity and balance.
