WITHDRAWALS, REFUNDS & CREDITS
• Full refund is offered for all programs that are cancelled by Gerstung.
• Withdrawals that are made 15 days or more prior to the first day of student’s scheduled class: Full refund less the $50 non-refundable registration fee, or a Gerstung in house credit of 100%.
• Withdrawals that are made after the student’s first class (but prior to the second class): 50% refund of paid tuition, or a 100% Gerstung credit.
• Withdrawals that are made after the student’s second class (but prior to the third class) will receive a Gerstung in-house prorated credit. No cash refunds of any kind.
• Withdrawals that are made after the third class will receive a in-house prorated credit only for documented medical circumstances.

The effective date of the withdrawal will be established on the date our Registrar receives notification by mail, fax, or email. Due to the time sensitivity of the issue, phone calls are not recommended.

Returned Check Fee: $35.00 for all checks returned by the bank.

POLICIES:
A RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION & ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK AGREEMENT MUST BE ON FILE EVERY YEAR FOR EACH FAMILY MEMBER WHO ATTENDS CLASSES or CAMP

NEW WI-FI: Gerstung guests are welcome to use the Internet through their own personal laptops and other devices with our complimentary WI-FI. Please see the receptionist for the code you will need to access the account. Please understand that any user accepts that Gerstung, like most WI-FI providers at hotels, coffee shops, etc, makes NO representations about the safety of the data transmitted over the system, provides no protection for computer virus’ or other problems, and is unable to help you configure your system to use the WI-FI, if you are unable to do so yourself. We are after all the best movement education center in Baltimore, but not computer experts! It is not guaranteed to be available in all parts of the building; that depends on the strength of the user’s equipment and other variable factors. Suggested “hot spots” are the waiting area by the front desk and the lounge on the 2nd floor.

WINTER WEATHER POLICY: We strive never to close Gerstung’s doors, they are always open to you and your family! If we are forced to close or have a delayed opening for any reason you will be contacted by telephone. The Gerstung website (www.gerstung.com) will also provide up to the minute information regarding possible closings and/or delayed openings. If the Gerstung Administration cancels classes, a make-up will be offered.

Please understand that MAKE-UPS can only be accommodated for missed classes due to illness and if a class and space is available. No make-ups during weeks 15 and 16 are possible, nor do we allow carry-overs into another semester. We are unable to refund or offer an in-house credit for missed classes due to bad weather or otherwise. Instead, Gerstung now offers three Family Gym’s per week for your family to enjoy at no additional cost.

FOR REGISTRATIONS SUBMITTED BY PHONE/EMAIL AND/OR OTHER MEDIA: Attendance at your first class/session will be deemed acceptance of terms described in Gerstung brochures, including the Release & Indemnification & Acknowledgment of Risk Agreement.

PARENTS’ RESPONSIBILITIES: Please be aware that your child’s actions before, during, and after class are your responsibility. Students are not allowed to wander around the property, through the building, nor enter any of the activity areas without an instructor. Please read and adhere to our rules. They are spelled out in the Parent & Student Information Pamphlet (pick up one at the lobby counter).
