ADULT CLASSES

ADULT BALLET CLASS (Beginner) This class will focus on classical ballet basics including posture, positions of the feet and arms, flexibility, strength, and placement along with basic barre and center work. Be sure to wear ballet slippers and comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely.

ADULT MODERN DANCE (Beginner) This class emphasizes the use of the floor for centering and grounding oneself in movement as well as concepts of breath (inhale/exhale), overcurve/undercurve, contraction/release, musicality and rhythm. Basic dance vocabulary, placement and movement in modern technique are incorporated.
Course 941, 1 hr. 6 WEEK CLASS
LOW FLYING TRAPEZE AND AERIAL DANCE Experience the joy of flying through the air. Basic vocabulary is taught on low-flying trapeze, hoops, and aerial fabric. Apparatus are hung approximately five feet from the ground to incorporate floor work with air. Everyone is individually guided depending on the level of experience.
