Gerstung School Business Project JAK logo

Project JAK offers Movement Education, which we have refined over the past 46 years, to develop a more competent child. It also offers Fun Fitness with special equipment that makes children smile, as they do not realize their physical involvement. These methods are proven to elevate the mental alertness of youngsters, as well as their physical skills that build awareness and self-confidence. Our goal is to turn preschool and elementary school children into better learners.

Gerstung Just Add Kids and FUn Fitness Program

How does it work if you can not afford the program?

Gerstung works with your PTA and Department of Physical Education to create an after school activity club.

The school (club) collects a monthly fee from each participant. The proceeds pay for the instructor and pay off the equipment. This after school activity will eventually enable the Physical Education Department to have a state of the art movement component for the benefit of all students.

The equipment is free for half the school year allowing the club time to get started and to raise the funds for the first payment. A start up package costs less than $20,000.

What is this equipment for?
The equipment is necessary to create the learning environment of Movement Education or the activities for Fun Fitness (depending on the ages of the children).

What is the focus of the program?
Each of these programs focus on teaching children the ability to be better listeners, to become more creative, to learn how to implement, and to develop a sounder mind and body.

While children are being challenged they are having fun, they are relating to each other and most importantly they are discovering and developing skills for life, not easily taught through reading, writing, or arithmetic.

How does the school obtain the technique of Movement Education?

Participating schools are taught these techniques by Gerstung International with the personal involvement of Siegfried Gerstung who has trained over 100,000 children the joy of learning through movement.
