PRE-FINISHED MAPLE PLANKS

For Aerobics

• Resilient and shock absorbent.
• Tough multi layered acrylic-polyurethane coating.
• Durable solid maple planking on five plys of laminated wood.
• High gloss finish.
Our maple planks originated as a European design almost fifty years ago. Their ultra square edges and cross-directional construction delivers a smooth monolithic surface engineered to stay that way. Sliced 1/8" (3.2mm) hardwood forms the top layer. This solid top of maple retains all the rich graining and performance characteristics of conventional hearty floors. The five ply, cross-directional construction counteracts the natural tendency of wood to expand and contract with variations in temperature and humidity. This virtually eliminates the seasonal gaps and cracks found in some other wood flooring. Seven coats of high gloss, factory applied, UV-cured acrylic polyurethane stands up to high levels of activity. Prefinished flooring means no messy on-site sanding or unpleasant, slow curing chemicals. Maple plank floors clean easily with dust mop or vacuum. Many years of use will follow installation and the top may be recoated or sanded and refinished.

PRE-FINISHED OAK PLANKS

The oak plank is a multiple layered pre-finished wood flooring that provides maximum dimensional stability and allows the wood to resist normal shrinking and swelling. Oak pre-finished plank with 7 coats of UV cured urethane and aluminum oxide finish over a 3-ply slat core construction with a 5/32” wear surface, tongue and groove plank. Plank to measure 7 ½” wide x 9/16” thick x 89 ½” long with a satin gloss finish and square edge/end profiles. Oak planks are to be glued down to the sub-floor.

DANCE PARQUET

• Un-finished Maple Parquet Squares
• Resistant and shock absorbent
• Smooth but not slippery
• Unfinished - sanded (may be oiled)
A technology breakthrough in hardwood flooring. Its unfinished surface combines the natural warmth of sanded hardwood with the parquet look that is in demand for both traditional and specialty dance. Recommended for tap dancing. Its full 5/16" wear surface allows for more sanding applications than other wood floors on the market. The surface is smooth, but not slippery, especially when slightly sanded. This construction gives Dance Parquet a versatility and suitability for dance and athletic applications that no other hardwood flooring can match.
